Amidst the upcoming holiday season, it's natural to think about everyone who is less fortunate during this season of giving. Here at Your Pet at Home, we are too, but we're thinking of the four paws and a cold nose that want a holiday season and beyond, too! So we're rallying for donations to support the Pet Pal Animal Shelter with St. Pete's First Annual HungryBowl.
Pet Pal Animal Shelter's mission is to rescue dogs and cats from animal shelters that may otherwise be euthanized due to time limitations, illness, injuries or lack of socialization and training. They are dedicated to educating the public about the pet overpopulation crisis, the importance of spaying/neutering and responsible pet ownership.
As a community, we can assist the efforts of St. Pete's own Pet Pal Animal Shelter*. With your donation of pet food and supplies on their wish list during this HungryBowl™ Pet Food Drive, you'll support Pet Pal's mission of providing their programs and adoptable pets, the love and warm they need this time of year, into 2015!
(Please note on their wish list that they feed Science Diet Maintenance dog and cat food in the shelter. This is preferred; however, they'll gladly accept any food to be used in their community outreach programs.)
